Richard Martin, Director

Richard Martin is Program Director and Event Manager at the Franco-American Heritage Center in Lewiston, Maine. In addition to being one of Community Little Theatre’s directors and designers, Mr. Martin is also the club advisor and director for Lewiston High School’s Center Stage Ensemble. His credits as director for CLTC include many plays and musicals including Phantom, Scarlett Pimpernel, Sound of Music, High School Musical and in the fall of 2010 Peter Pan. Mr. Martin is also an award-winning playwright [the Moss Hart Award from the New England Theatre Conference] for the original musical production of “Lewiston – A New Home”. His employment at the Heritage Center is a ‘perfect fit’, and he’s come to ‘rest’ there as a professional in a place well-remembered, and impassioned about his contribution to its endurance, not only for the City of Lewiston, but internationally, as a world-class performing arts center.
